The women of ReTake Vintage have the advantage of 30 years’ experience in the film industry – and we bring that Hollywood style and expertise to you wherever you live. Having worked in movies and television from every period, we can certainly spot a 50’s Dior New Look dress from a current knock-off at 50 paces.

Another advantage of working on the set is that we often have the opportunity to purchase wardrobe used as costumes directly from the studios and our stylist colleagues. You can browse through these selections in our special “Off The Set” section. It’s kind of fun to think you could be wearing something that was in your favorite period film or TV show.

And we LOVE accessories – an old Hollywood trick to create the character in a movie is to design the basic dress and let the accessories define the personality. But you knew that already! There’s no reason you can’t do this yourself with the fabulous pieces in our stock.
